  1. Rated 5 out of 5

    Heather L – 08/12/2020

This project appears complicated at first glance. But the instructions are so clear and concise that they are easy to follow and the tumbler comes together in a few hours or as a weekend project. Being a small female and able to easily turn the tumbler is essential for me. And to slide a wheel barrow underneath it to empty it is an absolute bonus. This is a very stable tumbler and I highly recommend anyone looking to make their own compost tumbler give this one a try.

This tutorial is fantastic! I am not that confident in my diy skills, but these plans made it so easy to do. Not only do I have a compost tumbler that works great, I am so proud of myself for building it! Thanks for walking me through it!

I can’t wait for the compost shaker you mentioned. I’m for sure going to build one of those too!

This project was a great addition to my garden area. The step by step tutorial was spot on, as well as the materials list. The video shows you step by step how to make the frame as well as how to drill the holes for the container. . As an avid woodworker, I found this project enjoyable to make. It took me about 2-3 hrs to finish. If you are a beginner, this one isn’t hard to conquer. Nice job on the layout, materials list and video!
